Sandy Shatz started Senior Hires in 1997 out of her passion to help people, especially those affected by corporate downsizing, and to help place people who are looking to return to work or augment their retirement income.
The idea for Senior Hires arose when owner Sandy Shatz was watching a televised interview with three women all in their fifties. One woman said she had been downsized, another one said she was a displaced homemaker and the third was so destitute she was forced to buy cat food for herself to survive. That interview inspired Sandy to try to do something to help other Senior Citizens from facing such straits. Sandy decided to combine her 25 years of employment agency experience with her desire to help seniors.
We are a unique employment agency who specializes in clients who are at least 40 years of age. Senior Hires has been in business for over 10 years and the principal of Senior Hires has over 25 years of experience in recruiting and placement.
We are also a proud member of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce ever since we've been in business.
